Winding down

We are finally done for the day. All of the animals are feed and put up. Laken is heading to bed and I am relaxing for a minute. I managed to do one of my favorite things today. I hung my just washed linens out on the line. Oh how I love that smell. The only real issue today was the mishap with the eggs. We went out to feed the chickens and get the eggs. My girls lay around 24 eggs a day. Well, we collected them and I sat them down on the roost to get the feed. I walked out and left them in the bucket. Later, Laken went to close the coop and found the eggs all over the ground, broken. One of the hens got nosey and knocked the bucket over. Well I guess you could say that is the way the egg cracks..lol. I have to go to my money making job tomorrow. I can tell you that the stories from that job are funnier sometimes but we all know I cant share those, so I will stick to my farm stories. Good night all
